My name is Kent and I live not far from Stockholm in Sweden.I´v been collecting GULF items since 2004 and I realised after a while that I have to build my own gas station. I live in the country side so it was possible for me to build a copy of and small swedish gas station in my backyard. Since then have I restored several Ljungmans gas pumps and of course also collecting old cans etc. It´s great hobby and I have made lot of new friends. I add picture so you can see my small gas station, in Sweden we call this old gas stations "sitting dogs". Kind regards from Kent, GULF collector from Sweden.

It´s very nice to know others with the same interest.
As we say here in Sweden "Collectors are happy people"
I built my gas station after an old orginal drawing from 1937, that same year GULF established in Sweden.
In 1980-82 GULF gas stations was aquired by Q8. Recentley it came out message that GULF will be back and some small gas stations shall open again.
"THE LEGEND IS BE BACK"!!

You have been busy. Very nice collection. Are those Swedish containers or are they North American items purchased off of e-Bay?

Post your pictures of your station, and your story about how it came about, in the showcase and stories section. More people will see it on that forum than on this one, and will enjoy it very much! It's a dream for many collectors on this list!

Hi again! J have been lucky to find GULF items on different swap meets and in Sweden we also have E-bay but we call it Tradera, ( www.tradera.com). In some cases people have donated things to me, when I promise to take good care of them. Many greetings from Kent

Självklart får du komma förbi och titta om du vill. Just nu har jag tagit in alla pumparna mm så det är ju mer och titta på framåt våren. Jag bor utanför Sigtuna, adressen är Håtunabo 131. Sök på Eniro på mitt namn, Kent Ström så får du en bra vägbeskrivning.
