I'm working on my Wayne 80.Trying to figure out how the computer works.Is there a manual for these?I don't want to take it apart I'll probably never get it back together.It doesn't want to turn but I don't believe it's stuck.Any help greatly appreciated. Tom

DO NOT take it apart! You will never get it back right agian! Soak it in a tub of "simple green" and look it over, they are alllllways stuck somewhere it seems - it is usually just a little cheater catch! Lots of wd40 will also help...

It all depends on your level of mechanical aptitude. They can be disassembled and reasembled, but I'd definitely recommend you get a service manual for it. I think Tom Buckles has some of those.

Larry Leitheiser rebuilds Veeder Root computers if you don't want to mess with it yourself. If you are interested, go to the blue search box at the bottom of this page. Search for "computer restoration" and select "Oldgas Classified Ads" from the drop down menu, then click Go. Various vendors sell new numbers to apply to the computer wheels or new wheels for do-it-yourselfers.
