But, I'm not sure how correct it is?

Slamaglobe makes correct ones (red) in water slide. The top one is the right color but has that funny wave at the bottom.

I'd go w/ a decal vs a Repop sign [haven't seen a decent Repop].

Hey Dick... was thinking that but as this pump of mine falls in the candiate of too goo to restored, plans are for weathering the decal or sign if possible ... if sign i know i can damage up & let it rust up or stick in mollasses to age a bit... with a decal, not sure other than heating it up once installed or wipe down with thinners or turps to gain the sunburnt finish you find with decals over the years... the aglass can be left outside to got dirty, dull off so that the whole pump (thanks to its original sunburnt paint matches...
cheers

Can also coat decal w/ thin/lite pastel color & Clear Flat Krylon [on most decals]. You can also pre-cut decals before applying to get a distorted look.
