Anyone ever see a globe (kinda a stretch calling it a globe) like this? And what kind of pump is this?

While the pump is a Sharmeter 512, the globe could well have been a fabrication . Even if the globe was a one off job, it was well done and I'm sure attracted customers ............ Ed Shaver

This globe appears in the new globe book but only in pictures none have ever been found
Originals only for me. Always looking for Simpson oil, Super A, and MFA oil cans and globes. Shawn Morris

That is a cool globe, never seen one though. There is a colonial gas globe close to it. It is flat like the one in the picture, but it is a square.

If you look really close, I think there's the silouette of a backward "S" inside the sight glass, which we know Sharmeter clockface pumps had an "S" spinner inside of them, just a guess? I could really use a globe like that right now, I'm working on a replica 1930's Sunoco station for a customer this coming year. Thanks for the cool picture though, Goober
