I was killing time today reading through several of the "For Sale" postings. Stuff I wasn't interested in buying, just curious to see what folks had for sale. One common theme I saw in several postings was hateful and snide remarks from both the poster and oldgas members. For a minute I thought I was reading comments from my 8 and 9 year old daughters, possibly even my 16yr old son. Comments that serve no useful purpose; comments that can cut like knives. Then I realized, no these comments and jabs at one another are from grown adults. What a shame!! How sad really!
How about we all pledge to be pleasant to one another in 2013. If you don't have something pleasant to say, keep it to yourself. Mentally grow up! Step up and be a decent human being. I know there are plenty of us still out there.
I'm sure this post will rub some of the members the wrong way, but like my young daughters would say - "too bad, too sad".

Greg, saddly the internet has spawned the Repusive behavior in many people . I know they'll always get away with it using different IP"s , screen names an so on. I try to be as decent to everyone every day as it seems I'm constantly running into folks I've seen on these forums . I figgure if I'm decent. it'll come back .......... Ed Shaver

Very well said Greg I hope it happens, but I won't hold my breath as some people are just negative all the time. It's sad when you think about it because this site has so much to offer especially when you respect each other. I will man up and try to do my part by not getting involved in negative conversations.

Good thought's we could all live by.I belong to another site for camaro owners and have watched it deteriorate .lately people are bad mouthing,p--ssing matches starting , going from a friendly helpful community to one that always appears to have controversy.We all need to be more considerate of others feelings,attempt to help one another and make our visits warm and welcoming.My two cents - newby here.

I'd love to see improvement in positive, constructive interaction and way less negative. Even when an issue needs to be raised, it can be done with tactful respect.

I think when posting comments we should always ask ourselves if we would say these same comments if the person or person's were sitting with us face to face. I think all to often people hide behind a computer screen! Lets make 2013 a positive one! Happy New Year!

I agree with gasguy77 alot of the negative and rude comments would never happen in person. We should all try to show a little more respect.

sounds good, I'm a member of the Antique Auto Club of America's forum and the same type of stuff can happen there. Also a member of the H.A.M.B. and they can make the worst discussion on here seem like a Sunday morning revival, just sayin'. Maybe we aren't so bad as forums go after all

Actually, being on this, and many other forums... This one IS the best.
As for me... I'll not say ANYTHING here, that I WOULDNT say, face to face.
