Does anybody know of a company that might make vintage inspired gas station shirts, with logo detail, etc?

Welcome to the site.

There is somebody on ebay making new T-shirts with old gas logos (named "50stuf"), but it sounds like you are looking for something that looks like an old uniform? I don't have any info on that. Sorry.

Check with your local car dealerships to ask what company services their uniforms. Ask that local company about retro style shirts, new or used.
Old oil and car company patches are available on eBay and at swap meets. Be aware some patches appear to be reproductions.

My ex-brother-in-law prints t-shirts with all grades of logos and designs. His name is the "Brain", also known as Greg Clayton. He can hook you up. He lives in Raleigh, NC.

Go to Big Box Mart and pick your self up some Dickies work shirts. You can find old patches on ebay or elsewhere and have them sewn on. I had my mother in law sew one up for me with some classic Gulf and Ford patches (never was much of a seamstress myself) It came out awesome and I use as a work shirt around the garage.

Just my two cents.

Always looking for Ithaca Gun and Lucky Sam soda items!!!

If you are looking for a patch take a look at these: http://www.petrolianacollectibles.com/patches.htm

Haven't put up the prices, but just let me know if you are interested.
