No doubt! Wow. Anyone have a guess on the Beacon or the Drumming Michelin die cut flange?
Best auction in a long time.

Best auction in a long time. The Michelin is not a flange... Its a tire holder/ stand... still a great piece!

Upcoming auctions for Matthews Auction We have posted our February online auction and Feb 15 & 16 sign and toy auction, on this auction there is an Iroquois sign that I dont think is right by I have never seen another and if you think that someone has or was making a fantasy sign you would see more of them. What's everybody think? Dan

Dan, One of these was sold on eBay in 2006. It was described the same as convex and 9.5" in diameter. It sold for $1650. I think another or possibly the same sign ran again within a few months. Does not appear to be same one as yours (no wear on lower right edge). I was suspicious at the time but have no proof of authenticity on way or the other.

I know Iroquois beer was made in Buffalo NY but the head was always facing the other way but looked similar. This popped up under a quick search from your auction at Iowa Gas last year. It says Iroquois Chief on it. Did this sign come off a truck?? There was also a Iroquois Car company way back early 1900's right here by me in Seneca Falls NY, now those are rare. Nice piece though.
