Back when gas station attendents wore uniforms!! Check out the cars-- not a foreign car in sight!! Gas prices in cents-

I love the light poles at the coveys mobil station its in color the light pole collumn looking ones. What r those called officially and does any body have one.

I love wagons (favorite is Buick Roadmaster) and travel trailers. Needless to say the Shell station with the great pumps in one of the best pictures I've ever seen.

Fantastic pics. Thanks for sharing! A few things I thought were cool:
1.The size of the Gilmore self serve.
2.The down lights on the Sunoco signage.
3.Those Goodyear verticals must be close to 30'.
4.I had no idea they blended ethanol in the 30's.
5. the Boron globe toppers on the Sohio.
6. Wish I knew how the lift at the Texaco parking operated.

Did anyone notice the corn cobs hanging from the visible pumps? Definitely advertising "blending" gasoline.
