Hello oldgassers, item 330858555432 is a fake Signal ethly sign. The sellers feedback is 100%, and I don't know if the seller knows or not. I have sent him a message I am waiting for a responce.

He has responded to my message with "Thanks gotta change some things", but item is still listed.

Seller is Larry "SIGNAL" ******, long time collector of SIGNAL Items. He has forgotten more SIGNAL Oil History than most of us will ever learn.

His last three feedbacks are from Argentina. If he pulls the listing DB I will be impressed.

Here is the last time that same sign sold 321044428119

Bad thing is, in that condition, thats about all a real signal ethyl is worth.

Well at least he changed the listing to say reproduction and dropped the price. I am surprised because,most,sellers could care less as long as they don't get caught or get bad feedback. So good for the seller and Anthony for contacting him.

Is he going to refund the buyers from the past sales of those signs? That would be a true measure of integrity.

Looking at bucksworth's feedback he has bought 3 items from
cosasviejasmex = Argentina, 1 being this SIGNAL PP. He has Sold 3 items that he has received Feedback on, 1 being a SIGNAL Creeper.

Last I looked the SIGNAL PP has not received a Bid.

What are the items he needs to Refund the buyers?

doubt that is going to happen. He got caught this time but he didn't before. He doesn't feel too bad.

I didn’t start the Signal thread to roast a friend of yours, as I stated in the thread I wasn’t sure if he knew it was a fake. As far as the listing saying reproduction, that changed after I sent him the message that the sign he had listed was a fake. I just wanted fellow gasser’s to know that there was an ebayer with perfect feedback selling a fake sign. I don’t know how the thread got off course with the feedback issue. When I mentioned about his three other feedbacks I mean that he purchased three additional sign’s from the fake “capital of the world” (Argentina), and will they end up listed on ebay as well. I did conclude that one of the other signs he purchased was the Sunray DX sign that is also a fake. The Sunray & Signal signs that come from that area a very close fakes and can more easily be passed as real signs which has me very concerned.

Whether he/she is friend or foe doesn't matter. Stating the facts does. You made it sound like he had already sold 3 Fake signs, when in fact the 3 items he has sold since 2009 [1 was a SIGNAL Creeper, 1 a SIGNAL Xmas Card & last was not related to collecting].
His feedback shows that he bought 3 items from Argentina, 1 being the sign above. WE have no idea what the other 2 items were, only a Guess.

The only fact I stated was that "his last three feedbacks came from Argentina". This would lead someone to believe he bought three items from Argentina. Can we agree on this? The other fact I stated was that if he pulled the listing from ebay I myself would be very impressed and would think he is in fact an asset to this hobby for not letting this fake sign to be sold again. The last thing I stated was I gave the item number from when he bought the sign.

Big Block Cat, nothing wrong with what you said or did. The problem is the "pileing on" that occurs. People need to think before they post.
