I came across this Goldenwest sign in an Antique Mall a few days ago. Needless to say , it's still there. I have not seen one before. Anybody out there have one in better condition?

I would have to say that would have been a good one and a rare one. You see the repro globe all the time with the same name, different graphics.

I'm pretty sure it's a different company. Goldenwest is only one word on this sign, other version is 2 words.

Neat sign but what I am really digging is the 3 Stooges w/ Mobil Oil sign. Too Cool! Any idea what episode that is from?

FRY 117, go to Youtube and type in "Violent Is The Word For Curly Part I (1938) (IN COLOR)"
Being a Mobil collector I love this one, neat to see all the stuff around the station. Super Service!

I will have to check that out. Thanks!-Tony

Just watched the 3 Stooges episode and that thing is great. Can't believe I have never seen that one. Watching the hands go around the clockface pump was priceless. Lots of neat signage too. Thanks for sharing Dennis!

Are you all sure that's an 's' in west? I ask because it's missing the curves that the 's' in Gas has. If it's not an 's' what might it be?

Very good eye Nicole, but it could be like the Husky "S"....... kind of Husky's thing to change up the shape of their "S" in earlier signs.
It does tend to make the word HUSKY stand out more and possibly it did the same thing for GOLDENWEST to use a more unusual shaped "S".
