This could have been EXCITING, IF Jeff & I had not had the tire checked in Grand Island, Ne. going to I.G. !  Had a GREAT TIME, Hope to do it again. Thanks Jeff. db

Hey DB.... I had a blast on that road trip. Lots of stuff to post on the BOTW..... Next trip though, lets try for a little less excitement. LOL.....

Yeah - that rim was toast!
And if it had finished separating - the tire would have gone inside and - at the very least - chewed up the inner wheelwell. At the worst, taken out the entire rear end!
Glad you discovered it before anything bad happened.

I had a blast with you guys too. I'm trying to convince my keeper to try that dog food diet that you told me about... I dont think she's buying it though. LOL....
