For over 67 years I have never used or heard this word used. I now see it used all the time, but I really didn't know what it meant until now.

Great one Jack, you da man! I always called it rust but now in the politically correct world (whatever that is) it's p a t i n a. Here's how to define it, rust is when you own it and try to sell, then it's all rusty. But when you want to buy something in the same shape it's called patina and more valuable. My definition and yours also qualifies when you hang up the phone.........

Websters definition -patina- a surface appearance Of something grown beautifully especially with age or use. With that in mind im working up a pretty nice patina as we speak. Lol
