I got this globe a few month's back from a old man. I was wondering if anybody knew what color the green should be on the etched part of the globe. Or should I just leave it alone. Thanks Tyler [This message has been edited by Gas Pump Gasper (edited 02-16-2005).]

It should be dark green and should be easy to do. Just make sure all the old paint is off and spray it on. Also, use a light inside the globe when you are painting it so you can see if everthing is covered good and evenly.

I emailed Tyler a picture of a globe so he could match the paint to it. You won't be able to find a dark enough green in a rattle can.

Our local PPG auto parts store will match any color you bring in and put it in a rattle can. I have not yet tried it. Maybe other auto parts or paint stores do this also??
