Even tho this story is 10 years old... it's still exciting to think that maybe more of this is still out there. http://coolcatcorp.com/millerauction/MillerAuction.html

Dodo, you're right about the mag. I miss it. Still have a couple issues that I page thru once in awhile. You can never tell what one will find in a old barn or homestead, makes going for a ride in the country that more exciting.

Wow,

I remember hearing about that. Would like to see what else they found. Apparantly gold and silver bars buried all over the property! That would have been fun to be the first one in on.

You just never know what that person might have in the barn!!!

I know a few people like that around here. To look at them you think they were homeless.

One guy locally probably has the biggest collection of Studebaker cars and stuff on the planet. But you'd never find it or know about it. Another guy lives in a little old run down trailer, but is worth who knows how much. I could go on and on.

To each his own, I guess.

Always looking for Ithaca Gun and Lucky Sam soda items!!!

I KNOW THERE'S A GUY THAT HAS A MODERN BUILDING NEAR ME THAT'S KINDA TUCKED AWAY OF THE MAIN DRAG. I WAS TOLD YEARS AGO THAT THERE WAS LIKE 30-40 CARS IN THERE....ALL PRETTY MUCH PRISTINE LOW-MILEAGE 40'S, 50'S AND 60'S CARS, ETC. I ACTUALLY STOPPED THERE ONE SUNDAY AND NO ONE WAS AROUND, SO I SHIMMIED UP THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING AND TOOK A LOOK FOR ABOUT TEN SECONDS. I WAS AMAZED! BUT YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW THAT THEY WERE THERE UNLESS OF COURSE SOMEONE TOLD YOU!
