His name is Dennis, he knows the signs are not real, he was told that in person & he dosen't care.... he's a heavy hitter of auctions in central IL. spending what he got left to him from his parents. Never worked a day in his life from what I was told.

$3500.00 wow!! and e-bay is protecting buyers more than sellers? whats wrong here? e-bay always gets their fair share though, real or repop.

It is wrong, to even remotely suggest that the buyer should accept any blame or responsibility. Buyer bid on a original sign and payed accordingly. Seller and e-Bay are the offending parties in my opinion. Neither have any regard for anything other than profit!

Ebay has nothing to do with the Auctions being held on their site.. Anymore than Jim is responsible for Auctions held on Oldgas....

Does anyone have a link to the real T53 being offered by a member of this site?
Or can't we do links here?

Jim,, continually amends or adds guidelines to reflect any current changes needed to protect buyers and sellers alike. This is confirmed by recent changes in the guidelines that any fantasy reproduction items must be clearly stated as such and marked permanently.

It would not take much on e-Bays part to force this seller and others like them to accurately describe fantasy and reproductions items as such. Why should these sellers be allowed to defraud honest buyers, week after week? If e-Bay is the medium or conduit via which these people are defrauded; then in my opinion e-Bay has everything to do with these crooks and their auctions. e-Bay is choosing to facilitate and allow this to occur on their site. It would be naive to think otherwise.

There never was a REAL one of these. There is No Way to Hang [holes in top or brackets on back]. The T-53 date was used on the Larger Cookie Cutter signs, NOT THIS SIZE.

Why shouldn't ebay be held accountable for what is sold on it's site. If a real auctioneer sells an item on auctionzip live, proxbid, artfact or liveauctioneer those companies will do something about it if enough people complain. Dan
