I realize this item ended but I just wanted to see what everybody's opinion on it was. Because the paint loss around the corners made it look like a reproduction.

I dont know as a huge fan of Bear stuff I felt like it was a okay price even though the condition was ruff. But I do really like Bear stuff so my opinion is a little bias.

That sign probably was on a Bear cabinet, maybe a wheel alignment rack. It may have had a rough life with bumps and scrapes from parts and tools. The subject line of this post said, "Alignment" and Bear always spelled that their own way, "Alinement" so watch out for signs spelled the dictionary way instead of the Bear way.

Value to a brand specific collector can be higher than to a general petro sign collector.

It came off one of the first Bear spin balancers, I bought a hammered one at an auction just to get the sign, it was only $10 so not a bad deal.

That's what mine came off. Found the entire machine in a scrap yard. Could only save the sign.
