I have seen the sign that is on ebay in person (was at Dixie gas)...Its marked AM Sign Co Lynchburg VA (dated) but I passed on it..There was another one there (not marked AM sign co) just like the am co sign...and I saw another one at Hillsville VA (it was with the guys from Ohio that always have the fake Shell Air signs (there's wasnt marked either)... Either way its a dbl sided tin sign w/ reflective type stripes (the paint/stripes look almost like sandpainted tape or something similar...I dont know if real...or not so real....Three signs that are all in good shape within a few hundred miles of each other...

So around 1500 for a very nice one. I saw one at a show that I go to and the guy was asking 600 OBO for a NOS one. He has been there many times, and I want to buy the sign if it didn't sell. I am going Saturday. Now I know how to tell if it is real. I hope it is real, and that I can buy it.

Grabber, This is a picture of the sign that was at Hillsville Va. I did not pick it up and inspect it because they always have so much fake stuff around ,I thought why bother. It did have that reflective sand paint look which I have never seen on a Shell sign ? It has the grommets in the proper places and they looked old form the quick glance I took. We will see what others think ? I did not post this picture awhile ago, when I posted a picture of the Shell bottles under repop stuff because I don't know enough about it and did not really look close at it.
