I stopped collecting but, I don't think they made the black bottom in that size ? Only the newer W/Petrox....

Doug, thought you used to have one. I'm pretty sure Keith (Puretex) had one in his collection.

I'll look at my old photos Bill, if I don't see it I'll write Keith and ask him.

I was searching Keith's photos and it appears the sign he had was like this (black bottom) except with the Petrox logo at the bottom. The size is still 10" by 15".
Like this style.

The one in the middle looks like a 10" by 15" like the one I want.

Hey Bill

That's W/Petrox not just a plain black bottom. I sold Dan that sign in the middle shown. I never owned a black bottom 10" X 15" and wrote Keith last night. When I looked at Keith's photos last night I didn't see one on his walls either.

Hi Bill

As far as Keith can remember he owned a 10" X 15" W/Petrox like Dan's above. Very hard to come by, I only seen the one I owned, no others in 15 years.

Well the 10" by 15" Sky Chief does exist. It is a 1970s tin sign from the period of the Super Chief, Auto Diesel and other tin signs that were for the foreign market or never put into use. Here is a photo of the three sizes.

Still looking for the 10" by 15" version of Sky Chief with petrox of the style shown below.. There are several examples know to exist.
