hi all With my two Wayne visible pumps getting restored, was wondering which brand and version nozzles did the Wayne 519 & 615 pumps utilise? I'm trying to keep it close to original but if i cant find correct ones I may have to purchase those repo versions :-(
Any ideas guys'n'girls?
thanks a lot
Martin

Martin, there was a self locking type nozzle that slid into the drainback and then turned to lock in place. Some were branded Wayne, while others were generic but looked the same. I believe I have an extra if you're interested?

I heard on those types, but never saw one... has anyone got a pic of it? My 519 has original skins and it has some additional plate welded to it near the drain back assembly.. The 615 has just had new skins put on it.. so there isnt one there

The hand guard on the nozzle would rest on that little angled plate and could be padlocked to it at night. I'll take a picture later today.

thanks for the pics roger....thats one different looking nozzle... can understand how a generic version doesnt fit true with those plates... Wayne took it on themselves to make the nozzle specific for it pump..
The thing in the back of my head is the nozzle will never be put there when on display as its hooked on the top rest... my not even need to go down that path.... gutt feeling theit not that cheap to acquire one..

Martin-=- Some of the generics were made by the same company that made the nozzles for Wayne. Here is a picture of one that I have. Wayne nozzle in the first picture and the generic in the second. A good one will run $100 or slightly more but the shipping to Australia might be a bunch?

Should work fine--just needs a new flex spout soldered in!

Got this Morrison Brothers model 227 that looks just like the ones pictured. According to Jack's site the 227 was made to be used with the Wayne visible locking system. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
