Here is an idea that I am sure a lot of us has thought of. The frustration of waiting for emails back and forth and then not knowing. Why do we not include our phone numbers as some here do when we have something for sale or a want. This would make communication much faster, though a little more expensive but quicker so you knew where you were at and better explaining if needed on items. Thoughts ??

View my profile and its there. More info there than I know about myself on given days.
I;ve seen members give email and phone here, not me but its there for members. 301 guest here as I post, and 11 spiders. I have always wonder what a spider is.

I took that to mean we should post it in the listing.
I agree you have to have a membership to see a members profile.

The title of his post said phone numbers in PM's. I personally would not put a phone number in a post.

You are right about the numbers in a way, my wife said the same thing about others getting my number. Just thought for me it would save me time in waiting for return emails and me not being in front of the computer.

Loyd, The spiders in the "Who's Online" list on the Portal page are automated computers that "crawl the Web" to gather information that a search engine like Google will use to determine what info can be found on what page. They build an index with that knowledge so they can give the most relevant answers to searches that people submit. So if you want search engines to give accurate results for your searches, spiders are necessary for that.
The spiders can't see in your Profile or your PM messages. But anything that is in a public post can be seen by a spider or any Internet user anywhere.
