Take some wood stain and blot the ad glass with some stain on a rag/paper towel to your liking..... :^|

Go out and bury it for six months, that's what all the crooks on ebay do. LOL
Someone on here will give you a great idea on how to rough it up I'm sure.

Place it/them in a Tanning Bed, it's the Ultraviolet Rays that fade the colors

Hey Brad, remember the nos Fire Chief ad glass decals I told you I had a while back? Well, I was messing around the other day and tried to transfer one onto a blank glass I had. I ruined the first one, but figured out how to do it on the second try. The thing is, the decals are so old that the background white has yellowed and the finished product looks like its fifty years old! I will post a picture of it tomorrow when I get out to the shop and you can see what you think.....Gary

I do not know about Ad glasses, but I have "aged" various painted glass, metal, and wood items using a combination of wood stain, paint and crackle finish. You need to experiment first on a similar inexpensive item to get the look that you are striving for or you just wasting time and money. Have fun and go for it. Dave

Tea stain the add glass. Get a bag of brown tea make tea with it. Then pull the bag and rub it on the back of the add glass. Just an idea
Hunt long and hard the good stuff still out there. Jonathan lowry.

Send me a piece of that broken glass and I will try some things for you.You need something that will penetrate the paint on the glass.Perhaps a solvent diluted with stain? Dave

The tea stain process is very non permanant for a first shot and if you dont like the result water should clean it back up

Brad, This is my ad glass with the new old decal on it. Its really hard to get them on the glass without it all falling apart, but if it's the old look you want, it might work for you.
