Has anyone seen one of these? I think it might be one of the first type of a rocker can. It has no name. I think it might have been used for kerosene. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Don

You are correct. This is a counter top kerosene dispenser used in general stores.

More for home use to fill lamps & cooking stove reservoirs, than dispensing at a General Store.

There are several sizes to collect in these suspended rocker cans. I had one last year that still had original paper labels attached. I have seen 1/2 gallon up to 5 gallon versions with both metal and wooden suspension frames.
Collecting anything keeps you young at heart!
