I saw down below where someone said to use PB Blaster penetrant oil to break down sight glass seal. Does anyone know where to find this stuff. I would rather not buy the tool to take the ring off the sight glass from my Wayne 70. Thanks

Hey Trip, heres a couple more things you can try, oil filter wrench for small filters and a cheater pipe. also try a strap wrench with a cheater pipe. but I've alwaysed use just a large pipe wrench with a rag wrapped around the keeper nut and a cheater pipe. maybe just buy another manifold. well luck to you .

So, you've taken the manifold out of the frame??? Yes that just what you need. I'd take it to a welding shop and ask them to remove the keeper rings. other wise your going to wrestle with that manifold all over the yard.

If it was all steel and cast iron , let em at it..otherwise put your ad on now looking for a replacement , they wont even care what they do to it plus it will cost you. If the outer ring is die cast they will probably melt that, break the glass from heat, then want more than it is worth to replace for ""HELPING YOU"" You cant hold it better than in its`own frame..be careful. Do you have a pic, not sure what it looks like, mine is missing..also use thin aluminum strips on your pipe wrench jaws, it will cut through cloth and chew them up.
