Heres an old vintage porcelain D-X sign that he says he got from his uncles estate. Says his uncle was an avid collector and this hung inside his barn. Fake Diamond D-X lubricating oil sign Anytime I here an estate sale it sounds like a broken record now , same old story every time.

The same sign can be bought at American Pickers Warehouse, maybe that was the barn he was referring too. link > Diamond D-X Sold by Pickers

I sold three signs at the Columbia Missouri show last January and have since seen all three listed and sold on ebay. All three were original. Two were unfinished Texacos and all three were listed as recent estate finds. Why do people need to make up a story as to where they got something? Does saying it is an estate find lend creditably to the auction?

...wow...and still, there are those who are charmed by these clowns...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
