Old railroad tin signs from post cereal in the 50s.

I have 20 of the 28 in the set. Willing to sell now... or if no takers then I'm going to find the last 8 & make it complete for display.

$140 shipped

additional info: They are little like 4" tin metal embossed signs with two holes for hanging like a normal sign.

Wow! What memories. I used to collect them when i was a kid. Kept nagging Mom to buy more boxes of cereal just to get the signs!

What were the chances of getting a different one each time though?

little to none... but think of it like Mcdonalds monopoly, or trading cards... just have to find a friend or relative to trade duplicates with!

I'm almost sure my older brother had some of those on the outside of his HO gauge train table in our basement over 40 years ago. Even I thought they were neat-O!

I inherited a frame with all of those in it from my grandfather who passed away several years ago. He used to work on the mail trains in upstate NY from the '30s to 1963. It's got all 28 of them. I never had any idea where they came from until now.

Thanks for posting! :-)

I collect older Snap On tools and tool boxes. Anything from 1920-2000 I'll likely have some interest in. My wheelhouse is 1950s-1980s.
