I have a 30 inch gargoyle mobile oil socony vacuum lollipop sign and the base is 20 inch. It says property of vacuum oil company
gargoyle mobiloil. I have already listed it on e-bay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7176787566&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

-I was just wondering about the originality and how I can tell if the base is original to the sign. Also, while I am asking the experts.....I bought a 4ft by 5ft Sinclair Ahead sign with dino for $135. How did I do? It is rusty at the bottom (tin) but the rest of it is perfect and it does not affect the writing or picture.
Any help is appreciated.

I think you did fine on the sinclair. I would have paid about that for it, but not much more.

Good luck,
Wes
