Found this sign today, measures 26" and is dated 1945. Not porcelain and seller who just moved here from Kansas claims that he found two of these in the attic of his Kansas home when he moved there

I think this was a store similar Western Auto except in the midwest. Can't remember who told me this.
Thanks, Phil _________________________________________________ Looking for any old pumps, or nice 5 gallon cans.

I'll go out on a limb and say not to many of those were produced being 1945 (during the War). Texaco continued making pump plates again in 1945, and I've seen only a few. A ton of 1940's, then a ton of 1947's.

No longer have the pic,but a few years ago,I found a 30 gal can at a flea market with "worthmore" on it. Don't remember it exactly ,but don't think it was as old as that sign.didnt think it was worth the 80 bucks the guy wanted for it at the time.
Looking for gas,oil related clocks, especially neon and spinners .clock repair available. Mick
