Greetings:

With thanks to a fellow forum member, I will be acquiring my first pump and embarking on its restoration over this coming summer. The subject pump is a 1952 Wayne Model 80 1T. This was an original Conoco pump with a 'Royal' ad glass top.

In need of a replacement nozzle and hoping to do the restoration with as many period-correct parts as possible, can any one assist in identifying the correct nozzle(s) that would have typically been installed on this type of pump when new?

Thanks in advance for any assistance that you might be able to provide.

Regards,

Patrick S.

If you want a generic nozzle, then fast66 has shown you some.

If you are looking for the nozzle that was on the pump when it was delivered new to the station then you are looking for a nozzle that has the word 'WAYNE" embossed into the large nut at the top of the nozzle. The nozzle was made by Buckeye but their name was not on the nozzle.

This is the best picture I can find of the nozzle from Wayne literature.

I may have one, but I have been sick with the flu for over two weeks and if the temperature won't go over 25 I'm not going out in the cold garage.

Not sure if this is much help, but this is the nozzle that was on my Wayne 80 when I procured it.

In the drawing above you can see the writing on the large nut, that was the Wayne name,

But...the pic that gasmelinceir supplied has a nozzle with the Wayne name on the side, I have owned a lot of Wayne nozzles, but that is the first one like that I have over seen.

Jack (et al):

Thanks for the info. I've already sent you a couple of e-mails re: literature availability; when you get around to responding, let me know on the availability/price of the nozzle as well.

Thanks,

Patrick S.
