I found this old neon from someone who said that his dad worked for a commercial sign company that included gas stations. He says it was from an old Ram station here in the SW. First thing I thought was Ram truck. I can find Ram stations here in NM and El Paso and Ram petroleum in MS, but the sign looks worn and anything Ram gas/petroleum that I can find was incorporated fairly recently.

Also found this link to a supposed old 'Ram' tire stand. I tried to contact the seller about its origins but no reply.

Wondering if anyone have any info on this. I think the sign is cool either way and would look cool lit up again. Thanks.. Steve.

I don't believe your piece is tire related. That Ram tire stand is from a much more modern era.

The liklihood is that either you have part of a larger sign. Or if you were lucky this is from a Dodge dealership.

Kind of what I was thinking. Either way, I think it would look cool repainted and restored. Thanks for the reply.

Not Dodge Ram Truck. Chrysler never used an open circular loop on the top half of the "R". That "R" being looped like that and open is kinda unique.
