I Recently spotted a AIR Meter Glass Globe. Smaller in size, 1 - piece, the kind that fit on top of older air dispenser. With all the repro's out there, how does one know if your getting the "Real McCoy". Any way of telling, what sizes were made, lettering, markings... Values ? Are these common ? I want it, but only if it's original.

I have a number of originals in my collection. Some are etched and some have been 'fired'. If you want to send me a photo I'll help you figure out which air meter it goes to. If you need an "Air Meter" book, let me know. Ron

Are you looking at the one listed on ebay now ? I don't think it is really an air globe, but might be wrong.

No, I've seen the one on ebay. The one I'm looking at is owned by a private collector. It's perfectly round approx. 10 - 11", has a lip on the bottom to fit into a holder and say's AIR on it in red, if I remember right.
