i bought a few green porcelain gas station lights and they have a faded white haze on them is there something strong to get them back to the original shine

A couple suggestions....Noxon, Meguiars Paint Cleaner or/and Ultimate Compound....by hand. Try a small inconspicuous area first. Regards.

Be careful with Nixon's. It is good stuff but very very strong

i tried red rubbing compound and 0000 steele wool and it did nothing it was all i had at the time at my house

Stay away from the abrasive stuff...a fine compound or chemical cleaner is the way to go..unless it's too far gone.

Bead or Sandblast & Paint w/ color you like. They are Toast as far as the porcelain finish.

No hope ! Buy some nice ones or redo with a bathtub glaze which will make it look like porcelain again.

Go on line and look up antique bath tub refinishing. You have to etch with acid first to make the porcelain clean and poise then you spray with primer and then glaze and it looks like porcelain when your done. I have done a monitor top frig. a gas pump, dental cabinet and several other things this way. Also a kitchen sink. Comes out great.

for the money just get some high gloss enamel ,no one will know but you when they are hanging.
