Can someone tell me if the faces on a 77 bolt straight to the clock, or is there a backplate, that goes in-between face and clock?
Thanks
Joe

Mine has 4 screws right into the clock body casting with no backing plate.

We have had a dozen of these or so and all have bolted directly to the clock with 4 screws. Rich B
