We just returned from a 7000 mile cross country trip. We paid $2.89 in Arkansas and then, just outside Branson, Mo $2.69. Mostly in the $3.39 to $3.69 area.

It went down to $2.49 here today, sure makes me wonder why our wonderful leaders can not have anty more control on things than they do. I won't say where I think Bush has his head but I sure hope there is room for our next leaader to join him. I bet you can bank on more of the same to happen in the future. We'll just see where gas prices go after the election.

Until we start using an alternative fuel source in great quantities, oil/gas prices will continue to rise. Less demand is the only thing that will bring the prices down.

Was 1.059$ / liter here earlier this week here in Montreal area. (that means +or- 4$ a gallon).

Today.... surprise! just jumped 10 cents higher.

How can you explain that?! Oil is going down and they are finding ways to still boost their prices...

When I got home from the Peotone show I was surprised to see that gas had droped 28 cents over the weekend and was now selling for 197.9. How far can it go?

Probably going to be short lived, OPEC is meeting with the probable outcome of reducing output = higher prices.

I finally saw gas drop below $3.00 a gallon here in California. On Saturday I filled up at $2.89 a gallon in Santa Rosa at Rotten Robbies.

$1.99 per gallon in Kansas City, MO today and still dropping. Come around Thanksgiving when people have to travel and the election is over the top brass will make up some excuse to spike the price. For now I'm not complaining.
