I have a Standard sign in the shape of a chevron. (looks like Home plate!)
Pics are included with my Lollipop inquiry just above this one.
It says:
Standard
Ethyl
Gasoline.
It is blue with white letters. it also has a Ethyl brand logo in the lower "Vee" of the sign. There is no date or identification on this. It is double sided porcelain approx 28" by 21".
Can anyone give me a guess on the age and value?

Looks a little faded, has a few small chip and a little corrosion around the lower edge.

That's a 1930's curb sign from the Standard Oil Company of California (Chevron today). If in excellent condition, worth $500-$750. With chips, corrosion and/or fade, I'd say $200-$400.
