Picked up this cool little pump. Not sure if it's a toy, salesman sample or home made project. Looks pretty detailed. Any ideas?

Hobby Lobby has a whole section of figurines like that made out of resin. Cute piece. Not a salesman sample; not an accurate reproduction. Dave

I would bet so. I'll run by there this week and look at what they have. They have some pretty neat decor items. Dave

Does he kinda look like one of the "Pep Boys"??
Nope, I googled it. The detail is very nice on the pump.

Decorator piece, not a toy. Available at any number of outlets.

While searching google for this place called Hobby Lobby mentioned above I came across Garden Ridge. Looks like they have some decorative gas pumps most likely made in China. This is a good example of why I do not tell friends and family what I collect. They will gift me something like this.

Awright...here is the 411. I went by Hobby Lobby before I started drinking tonight and they had a whole automotive section of figurines, repo signs, hubcaps,photographs/prints, etc. The only had 3 antique gas pumps...2 generic visibles and a very detailed Wayne 60. The lady that helped me thought that they had the Fry (after I pointed one out in a print that they sold) earlier in the year. She said that it was just something that they got in and not a normally stocked item. I have pictures of all of the aforementioned items and will post tomorrow. Dave
