Is anybody familair with these Gilbarco Pumps?
They are made in Canada.
What model and year are they?
Also trying to figure out if the plastic lenses covering front with Premium & Regular is correct.
I need two set Screws that lock the top section on.
Source of parts?

Just picked them up today.
Any assistance and comments are appreciated.

thanks,
Brian

I saw those for sale just the other day, we must be neighbors. Intersting looking pumps. Enjoy them.

There the Gilbarco 1006 model, better known as the salesmaker model. We had them in Australia from late 1950's till the 70's but some still end up being used locally. The US models utilised 3 wheel calcometers compared to our 4 wheel versions but the majority is exactly the same. I've restored over 10 of them over the years.

I dont think font on those decals, even though there US/canada models, are correct. They look too modern in design.. I would assume the text is more 50's square in design.
With the two screws your missing, they were a zues fitting, half turn that pulls the panel down tight into place.. there a bugger trying to find them.. if i dont get them in my builds i usually covert the holder (the part that on the main frame) to a threaded nut setup, then use a simple bolt down with a countersink bolt.. ends up holding the panel down and looks clean overall.

hope this helps you..

cheers
Martin
