This is a place about 25 miles from me that has about everything ,the owner and I have became pretty good friends over the last 4 years as I have purchased a lot of oil cans and petrolina from him , he was a oil del man in the early 80's and had some real good stuff once upon a time. His health has been getting worse the last couple of years and he has always wanted a old truck so that's who owns the orange REO now , I traded for the Conoco triangle sign but part of the deal is to let it hang there until he closes and that's what we did. The visible is mine that me and the kids put up about a month ago for him to display this summer and I will bring it back in the fall , this pretty much made his year his wife told me and was very thankful , he is quite a character as well as you can see with the city hall sign but thought you guys would enjoy.

Been there many times in the past he always had some neat stuff. Does he still have the Marine sign on the front of his counter. I tried to buy it years ago but he wouldn't sell it at the time.

Like most Collectors I know, our vehicles seem to drive to such places by themselves....

Hi Shawn Small world once again ! The marine sign i guess is long gone as I never remembered it but the pepsi box counter is still there. He never would sell any of the petrolina and about 2 years ago he opened up the oil rooms and the good stuff went fast , I don't know if you remember but there was a 45 ft trailer out back once and this sounds like a windy story but it was stacked with old signs but all long gone now. But he had some great pieces back in the day for sure.
