Can you help me identify this pump? It is a fresh barn find that I picked up today!

AKA, the "stovepipe". I personally think it's an underrated pump and prefer it over the Fry 117.
Collect small Oklahoma Oil Co.'s 1920's-1940's. Barnsdall, Cushing, Eason, Marland, etc.

Nice pump but it's a Rush model H made in Lafayette Indiana. I have one just like it. Looks like the conduit is missing and I'm not sure about the globe holder, I would like to see a better picture of the it. It also should have a different nozzle and it fits in the horseshoe shaped bracket on the side of the pump.

I'd clean it up and leave it as it is. You can always restore it.

Any idea of year of manufacture? 1920 Jack books . If you are going to buy pumps I suggest you find a copy. Nice pump!

Wow!!! That pump is awesome!!! It's new to these rookie eyes and I love it!!
Guys, What brand might this have been?
Also, when you cross paths with a pump with no apparent branding, what is the assumption? Could it have been in private use? Only the two pics, but I dont see any pump plate holes are anything.

I just went out to look at it and I don't see how it could rotate. It has a cast plate on top with three pins in it to locate but doesn't seem to be attached, strange.

Looks like some think its a Rush H. That would make it 1925.
Branding the sky is the limit,if someone doesn't know the history. They were all factory red. Lot of pics I have found suggest Pierce used these -just a example.

Lyn, is correct RUSH Model "H" & It does have the correct Globe Holder. It's either held on w/ 1 bolt or by the wiring.
This pump was never made w/ a Globe Rotator.
Loyd is correct @ 1925 or Later [many pumps were made a couple years after being 1st offered, some w/ minor changes].

If anybody knows anything about Rush pumps, it is Lyn. He is the official Rush historian, just about everything I have on Rush pumps came from him, if he says it is an H, it is an H.
Never did offer any literature for Rush pumps on my website because I did not think it would be fair to do so, since Lyn gave it all to me.

Figured Lynn was correct,as I have noticed Jacks Thanks to him on the acknowledgments page in the front of book. Thats the reason I revised the date I gave. Think everyone just assumed it was F due to no lights.
Only difference in the two are the lights added and the drop valve ? Dia. of body same ? It may the be way pics of the two are taking but the H looks like it could be smaller dia. from base to glass flange. Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Would not be the 1st time.

"F" body is a little different, has a door in upper body, center sheet metal fits inside lower cast & has a slightly different style bonnet [light arms protrude between bonnet & cyl top casting].

Thanks DB, Have seen a few Tom has had on the trailer at shows. Never seen them side by side. Schooling time ever time one of these surfaces for me. Door in upper body helps, now if I can just remember that. Making a note in the pump book.
