Hi, I'll be there looking for cities service stuff-signs and globes. Here in Canada we have a couple of service station memorabilia clubs. The western one and one in Ontario which I'm a member of,its the largest and covers coast to coast, with a few American members and some in England. The stuff is hit and miss, mostly at antique shows, a good nostalia show this Sunday which usually has some good finds. All the older collectors opt for auctions as the one last weekend that brought big prices. As far as the Barrie flea market goes, it used to be a good show when in was at Molson Park, but the last few times I've been there just seems like a waste of my time in my opinion. Ted

Don't make plans on my info but I think check in for the show is at like 3 pm on Thursday. If this year is anything like last year, some vendors will be setting up outside Thursday afternoon.

Got this email today!!
Dear 2013 Show Registrant,
Thank you for registering for the “Check the Oil!'s” Annual International Petroliana Collectors’ Show, known as “The Big Friendly”! Response has been great this year! We are returning to the Dublin Embassy Suites located in the Northwest Columbus, Ohio area at 5100 Upper Metro Place near the intersection of SR 161 and I-270 (exit 17).
A Registration and Exhibitor Information tent (outdoors in west parking lot) will be open by 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon — please check-in with us to obtain your registration materials.
Last year, we started set-up and trading late on Thursday, no more waiting around to guess the time.... This year, we will open all exhibit areas for set-up and trading at 5 pm Thursday–outdoors, indoor ballroom and indoor 2nd floor. Please help us load the parking lot and indoor rooms quickly and safely AND assist all the exhibitors by not gathering prior to 5 pm... only tables, tents & vehicles will be in the spaces.
2nd floor hotel rooms will not be open for visitors until after 5 pm at the hotel's request that hallways be as clear as possible to facilitate move-in and housekeeping.
The hotel will NOT have hotel rooms ready until 3pm on Thursday. Please help us control congestion, both inside and out by arriving after 3 pm. Please keep in mind there is a 72 hour cancellation policy for the hotel rooms. If you are pulling a trailer, or have a large vehicle, there is not enough room to turn around at the hotel lobby check-in. Please park across the street and walk to check-in.
The first event is the Hotel Manager's reception beginning at 5:30 pm on Thursday. Please join us and visit with your fellow collectors. Room-to-Room Show and Tell starts at 7:30 pm.
The buffet dinner on Friday has changed from past years. Tickets will be sold on Thursday and Friday until 10 am at the "CTO!" Booth. The Italian buffet features two sauces and pasta choices/two entrees, salad, drinks, and assorted desserts. You will be able to pay cash or charge this to your room, as it is sponsored by the hotel restaurant.
We have been advised by the hotel that overflow parking lots, including the field across the street, are for PARKING ONLY and that they will enforce the no trading or selling transaction policy. Only Sleeping rooms on the 2nd floor will be open for "visitors, trading & selling" during the day on Friday. We ask for your cooperation with the hotel policies as this is a great facility and we want to return to the Embassy Suites in 2014.
Thank you for your support, we look forward to seeing you soon and celebrating our 27th show!
Always looking for Hy-Flash Gas/Miller Oil, Hi-Speed Gas/ Hickok Oil and Paragon Refining items from Toledo,Ohio.
