Crikey imagine the cost of reproducing the service station island in your collection! Great picture. I guess the cover would be a gas chandelier. Fred

Check the architecture and the uniforms! This was a pretty high class neighborhood in the day!

Kevin, what is the large car on right? Note the Service Car behind the large car.

I don't know but its a fairly large car that looks pretty fancy! Did you see the tire rack with tires and wheels on it at the right end of the island? Pretty neat display!

I've been into old cars for over 50 years , and I don't recall ever seeing that grille design on a car before. I'll try to track it down. Very classy service station. Thanks for posting.

I was scratching my head as well; the front bumper is Packard...don't know if it is a special Coach Builder design???

I went back to ebay where I copied the picture from and wrote the seller to see if he knew where this was taken from but he did not know.
Doesn't that car on the right look like some kind of limo the way the back seat/window is placed so far behind the rear door?

Very neat photo, station appears to be a beehive of activity. Quite a bit going on in that photograph. Pretty busy place/location.
