Came across this sign. The price was too good to pass up ...

Any idea what company it represents & what year?

Now, got to search for the "MEN" part. I kind of wish the "WOMEN" was missing. laugh

Thanks,

Hen

This one out of the home town Chevron Station.

The story is that the reason it's in such good shape is because the district rep made them take it down as their restrooms never did quite qualify. Not really a problem for them as they made most of their $$ on auto repairs.

...interesting - they're the exact same design, but the flanges are bent in different directions...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Thanks huskybob!

I appreciate the detailed information + the picture!

Could the sign be from 60's?

Thanks,

Hen

Hen.... this particular station was built around 1963 or 64, so it could be from the 1960's, but I'm no expert on Chevron stuff.

Thanks huskybob again!

This is great information indeed!

I kind of wish they had the CHEVRON logo included in the art work! frown
