I am looking to restore this old Shell european brass wallpump. However i am not sure how to remove old junk from it. As you can see on the picture it has a glass tube thats glued and the glue is so hard it feels like concrete.. I am a bit hesitant to use the sandblaster, though it might work with walnut or plastbeads? Or maybe acid bath? Please help!

No way would you want to blast this, would make repolishing very hard and expensive. Parts are soldered on and this also could make for more work if you blasted it. Hand take the cast parts off and then see what you can clean. Picture does not show glass tube as you say that is on there very well though. Would look beautiful redone.

I don't know if I would touch it! You could never recreate that metal patina! I think it looks terrific the way it is!

Same thought here, that patina is beautiful and could never be duplicated, I would leave it as is. It looks like an antique this way.

I too would leave it as is, it's beautiful like that and shows its history but its Your's and you do as you please I would try Tarn X its available at most stores try it on a little spot to see if you get the desired look. You wouldn't have to disassemble it as Tarn X works on copper and brass just put some in a small container and use a soft brush to clean off the metal then rinse with water, it stinks but has never let me down. Great decision to preserve it in it's original as found condition. Can be restored/cleaned up anytime.
