As some of ya know , I've done a model of the former Zeppelin or Zep Diner that was in South Central Los Angles from the late 20's to about 1948 when it seems to have been torn down. Today, it's right off the Harbor Freeway , and on the property where there is a Mc Donalds and a self serve no name convenience store / gas stop today on Flower street . I did a "Bing search today and wow , nearly every shot I have taken and posted shows up in a collage that Bing offers . Just go to Bing and put in Zeppelin Diner .
Point is boys and girls , I dunno if Gilmore used a VERY LIGHT Yellow or a tan on it's pumps and buildings in the middle 30's . Plans are to do a "Hot- House " or Pre- Fab metal building 9 X 12 with the usual canopy over the three grades of gasoline . Any comments or suggestions are welcomed . Ed Shaver
see ya on the road folks !

Creamy Yellow. Contact Mike Slama, Jim Treadway, frankpl or Craig Osbeck for the colors they like best.

Don't you mean Florence St. Google map of 515 Florence St, Los Angeles Looks like McDonalds is there, but no gas station where the Gilmore station would have been. In my data, I have a Norman Service Station listed at Florence and Figeuroa in the 1920s. Likely that it changed hands/operator by the '30s. As most did.
