And those who collect Powerine, know oh so well how long before ESSO's campaign.

But I'm going to "throw in a curve", into the mix.
I "stumbled" on a little bit of "Tiger" History that I thought I would share with the "history buffs" here...
In the early 50s, for a short period of time, before Associated was dropped from the Tide Water-Associated Oil Corporate name... Associated Flying A Stations advertised "putting Tiger Power" in one's tank...
I've been lucky enough to acquire a couple pieces of advertising for Associated Oil Flying A Ethyl "Tiger Power" Gasoline. And thought I would share:
Now I am wondering if there were "Other Tigers" hiding in each gallon of gasoline? Long gone campaigns that used a similar theme?
