I've been told that the visible pump I have is an American 1423 model. When I got the pump it didn't have any skins. The only repo skins I had found didn't fit this pump, so I had my local metal shop fabricate a pair. I need a photo of an original pump so I can locate where the nozzle hanger and hole need to go and what the handle lock bracket looks like. There is an American visible on EBay now, but it isn't the same model. Any help will be appreciated. thanks
I found a Fry Mae West 117! Now I need orig. parts! Base doors, cyl. rods, skin & base bolts, reg. fingers, conduit pipe, light arms & shades, & more

The repo skins fit good but are missing the body lines around the ends. I looked for a year for originals. Google American 6 sided and you'll find some pics.

The only repo skins I have seen come from Gas Pump Heaven and they aren't the right size for this particular model. Each side section on my pump is 8 inches across and a height of 72 inches. The repos I've seen are 6.75 across the flat section and 66.75 tall. Mine won't have the body lines either unless I decide to weld them in. The average person will never even know that they aren't there.

Larry,
Please share the "AFTER" pictures when you are done with the restoration. Beautiful pump, indeed!

Thank You Hen, will do. My wife has even agreed to let me put it in the house. Thankfully we have a vaulted ceiling in the den!

Thanks for taking the time to take the photos! Unfortunately, that isn't the same model as mine, but that is going to be a great looking pump when you get it finished! You'll have to post some pics when it's done. Thanks again.
