Hi,
The value of the can is in the can itself not the oil. However, many people, myself included, like full ones if I can. However, if the can is empty it will not stop me from buying it. Condition of the can is the main factor. If the can is leaking I would def drain it and I prefer bottom drained.

I prefer empty cans as I have had a number of the full ones start to leak...not real bad just enough to leave an oil ring on the shelf. Seems that sometimes full ones will bring a little more money.

I offer quart can re-lidding, can rolling, lid stamping, and dent removal.

I like empty ones , less weight on the shelves , no mess , less shipping . I collect what what looks good to me , I'm not in it for resale , My kids maybe but not me , so I just look for a deal on something I like , I collect Imperial Quarts, American Quarts, Outboard Quarts, I don't have a lot but I like it. its more the hunt for me .

Dick,
I don't know that I've ever see pictures of the "DATED COPY" cans you make for displays. What do those look like and what brands are available?

1 can is original. I started doing them with paper labels, but some were removing & making their own Cans. I switched to a water slide decal. ALL my cans are Dated on the seam. I have done over 150 Different ones & continue when I get the urge.
