Afternoon all. Had some Internet issues with the "Idevices" but got it straightened out now. Time for another addition of FATW! Went to Harvard,il a couple weeks back, and finally stopped and got a couple pics of this old station..must have been quite a place in its day!

And while on a job the other day,I stopped and saw a friends backyard display.several items came from me..

I really like the look of the shed. To bad his "nice " neighbor has called the health inspector on him because of the tank.nothing in it,but they are trying to make him get rid of it.hes fighting it.

Last are a couple pics from another friend, who was up in N Dakota.

So lets see the pics of the stuff you have found on your hunting travels, and thanks in advance for the pics! Take care all!

I'll try to check into that……There is a small 2nd floor now but i'm not sure if it was always there or maybe just a tall impressive ceiling…..

Mick--
The Harvard station was owned by Shields Oil. At one point in time they carried Cities Service. It's a great station. I wish someone would completely restore it.

Saw this on vacation. The building is fairly generic, but the name and mountaintop location are pretty cool.

I almost forgot about the pics I took when I went back home to Kyle a few weeks ago. The first two are the sign at the golf course, it's been there for over 30 years. I would think that would be from either Gordon Turner's bulk station, or our cousin's former B/A station as they both switched to Gulf in '69.

The station lights and the pumps have been on my radar for quite a while now and hopefully someday I can land them.

The old dealership is a small town called Conquest, and the B/A sign is in the laneway of an acreage outside of Outlook Sask.

Cools pic's. If I lived in the area....I'd be buying that dealership to house my collection and building a house on the property.

Unfortunately, Saskatchewan is not on my list of places to build a retirement home in.

TheGriffin, you weren't too far from my place when you were at that farm. I have stopped in there several times to try and buy that Spur pump. You also weren't too far away from a set of 36B's all original branded Pure.

Went to Floydfest {a music festival} yesterday. It rained hard last night and the tent leaked badly. Cold and wet all night, so I decided to blow off the rest of the festival and go home. Stopped for breakfast down the road at what use to be a Gulf station. Still had the Men's and Women's signs on the doors and this map holder on the wall.

I think I'm getting hungry!! Great pics all! And thank you. If you are on the road this week,(Iowa gas or anywhere) take a few extra minutes and drive that back road ,take that picture. I can't tell you how much I love to see all the pics of stuff that's still out there. And it may not be tomorrow! I'm gonna make sure I take a little more time ,and cruise to see if I can find at least a couple pics of places that are hardly seen! Hope you will do the same!! Till next month, mick
