I hope someone out there can help me. I have a Flying A gas sign. Its a large A with a large wing on either side and is all red. Can't seem to find it for sale anywhere? Would sure like to know something about it.
Thanks.............
The feedback to my post by email was wonderful and I will try to post a picture tomorrow. I was hoping to see some chat about this sign........it is a cookie cutter shape a large A with a wing on either side all red and weights a ton.

Here's a photo of the Flying A sign that Betsy is asking about. Interesting sign. My guess is that it was used on a bulk plant wall. Anyone else have any ideas of pictures of old stations with this sign?

I found a picture of this sign on a 1950's station. Here's how it was displayed.
