I have a Veeder-Root from a pump that would have been used from the 80's to 2000.

It does not have the gallon indicator bell like the good old pumps did. Is it possible to add the bell to the newer veeder-roots? Thanks,
Mike

I beleive it is possible
if one of the wheels has a cam on the side
and you can see it through the round hole in the side of the head it is ready for the mech, if not you need to put in the wheel with the cam.

there should be a threaded hole and a small pinlike knob in the casting where the red circle is....on the totalizer side.

Thanks Joe. I see the hole but it is not threaded. And I do not see any cam on the wheels.

A buddy of mine came over the other day and had not seen my Tokheim 39. I was turning the computer over and when the bell dinged he said it brought back so many memories. It is neat to see the wheels turn but without the bell, it doesn't feel right.
