I have an opportunity to purchase this sign this weekend. It is porcelain and in excellent shape. Has 8 nail holes on outside border. has anyone ever seen or have bought this style of B/A sign. If so what would be the approximate market value? Btw it is 8 feet long and 45" tall

Ward,

Not sure if it is painted. I will be going to view it first hand on Saturday. I have seen a lot of B/A signs but like you said I have never seen on this style. The guy is asking $975.00

Minuteman,

Yes it is single sided porcelain. BTW, Huiles de chauffage translates to "oil for heating"

Anyone know if $975.00 is in the ball Park for this sign?

If your a B-A collector and you like B-A stuff and you don't mind FRENCH, its worth the $$$, if not, then the price wouldn't matter if it was half that.. just my thoughts.. Wes...

In photos I've been seeing the word "porcelain" in reference to signs. This can't refer to literal porcelain, can it? Could someone explain this, please?
